Tasting Notes
Intercept Crémant de Bourgogne Sparkling Wine is a light gold color with aromas of apricot and chestnut with notes of white flowers and honey. This sparkling wine is clean and full-bodied with bright fruit flavors and a good balance between mellowness and acidity.
This is a perfect aperitif to enjoy on its own but also pairs beautifully with seafood, fish, creamy bluecheese, and fruit desserts. Best served chilled to 42°F-46°F.
"The journey for Intercept sparkling wine started over a year ago – sparkling wine has long been requested by Intercept fans so we tasked ourselves with finding a new member of the team.
Charles gravitated towards more classical sparkling wine styles – citrus and brioche flavors with a rich, clean finish. So we aimed for the best: French sparkling wines – and it was Bourgogne (Burgundy) that offered delicious wines that would compliment the rest of our lineup."

Bourgogne, or Burgundy, is a primary winegrowing region in Eastern France – home to some of the world’s most admired Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines. To make these wines crémant (Fizzy/sparkling) they follow the French Méthode Traditionnelle in which a second fermentation occurs in bottle, providing the bubbles synonymous with French sparkling wines.
The Intercept Crémant de Bourgogne is a blend of Burgundy wines: 40% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay, 15% Gamay, 10% Aligote
